I’ve had an art block for quite some time, but suddenly when I was on the Amnesia RP, I had this idea that became a Kaernk thought; “If there was a way to make me visible and a bit more humane… would I be a merman?” Then after that, the dashboard was filled with Merman-Kaernk drawings and ideas! Everything was beautiful and nothing hurt. :D

But since most of the drawings and sketches were half-assed through, I wanted to do something more serious. So I started on this drawing. I won't lie, it took a lot of time. At some times I even wanted to give up, which was mostly during the colouring part, because I enjoyed the sketching the most. ♥

For those who don't know who Kaernk is, it's the water monster in Amnesia the Dark Descent. So yeah, this is how Kaernk would look like in my mind, if he was a merman. And then we got Hazel, Daniel's younger sister who is very ill. I decided to draw these two because they've become very good, in a weird way, friends. (:
